Happy Valentine's Day

Lilacs for the wife, a screening of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - one of the most life-affirming, dazzling films I have ever seen, and must see again- and a quiet sushi dinner with a red velvet cupcake for dessert: that's the plan for today, here on the mythical island of Manhattan.
