Britain, Britain, Britain...Thank You.

So here I sit, glumly staring at the copy of the Daily Mail that I nicked, er, borrowed from the lobby just before I left. Ah, England... the people, the places, the endless roundabouts, the cold lager, the sandwiches from Sainsburys - it all comes back to me like some wild, frenzied dream from a distant, far off corner of my imagination.
And yet it happened. A merry band of strangers, united by a passionate love of the fantastic, came together for four glorious, fun-filled days and brought the normally quiet town of Milton Keynes to its collective knees. OK, so I exaggerate...but only a little. To all the new friends I made, be they Brummie, Mancunian, or from the glorious capital, I will miss you. Be well and enjoy life.

Hey Zach,

Glad you had a nice trip. Never been to England, but I'm sure it was spectacular to experience life over there for a few days. Somehow, since I grew up in the 80's, whenever I think of England, I always think back to "National Lampoon's European Vacation", where Chevy Chase visits the UK and the people are so overly- friendly, even though he causes extreme mayhem (Eric Idle is quite memorable as the gent who gets battered at the hands of Chase, but still holds no grudges).

Sounds like you made plenty of friends, I wish I could have made it. Actually saw a clip of you giving your autograph at the convention on YouTube.

Well, like I said in my last post, hope you come to L.A. for a convention like that sometime in the future.

Later,
J.D.

Hey Zach, just found this blog through Google.

I worked at Collectormania, and just wanted to say thanks for being a great guest. I know so many people enjoyed meeting you, and I'm glad you had a great time.

Take care, and all the best of luck for the future.

Hey Zach, someone from the Collectormania forum just posted the link to your blog so I thought I'd pop in and say hi.
I had a really good time working with you on Sunday and loved listening to your stories. I also looked up Earl Greyhound on MySpace - thanks for that recommendation, their sound is ace! They mightn't be your cup of tea, but I have some of my favourite Aussie bands on my top friends on MySpace if you feel like checking them out (I take every opportunity possible to plug them!).
Good luck with everything.
Alison

Hi Zach!!
So you enjoyed the frenzy that is Collectormania eh...Glad it wasn't too painful. I've just popped in to say that i really enjoyed being your assistant on Monday! Thank You! Hopefully you will come back and do another convention in a while, but if we (I) do not see you again I’d like to say best of luck for everything your future may hold.
Keep working on that cockney accent too...cheeky!

Hello!

Thanks for being so kind to a little lonely Belgian girl for 3 long days...
It was a real pleasure to meet you there and I do hope that you'll come to see us in Belgium one day (maybe at the "FACTS" convention, in Ghent, in october?)
Hugs to Gizmo from me...

Hello Zach!
Thank you so much for the conversation we had on a Sunday party. Maybe, you remember us:
Anna from England
Oksana from Russia
Carmen from Texas
Here we are http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j228/Roksolanna/Collectormania-2007/collectormania_2007_may494-1.jpg
You are such a wonderful person to talk to! I keep on telling my friends in Russia "I've always liked Zach as an actor (I watched "Gremlins" so many times) but I have never thought that he is soooo charming and easy-going!"
Thank you once again. And hope to see you in Russia someday :)
