Back from a Long Break: The Update

Well, that was a nice 2 month hiatus. Plenty of news to share:

First up, I did the show 10 Great Reasons, an eight-part series paying tribute to musical guilty pleasures, debuting Feb. 19 on the Fuse channel and no doubt endlessly repeated forever (is that redundant? Not in this case). Good fun, though, and it will be interesting to see how closely it resembles VH1's I Love the 80"s in style and content.

Second, I will not comment on American politics since in so doing, one immediately alienates half the audience unnecessarily, and why would I want to do that?

Probably the best interview I've done in several years can be found here at the charming website Den of Geek. There is another audio one here at Deadpit.com, just scroll down on Past Shows and click on the link.

Hey Zach---

Always a pleasure to hear or read new interviews with you. I knew you did the belching effects for Gremlins 2 even before it came out--- Arsenio Hall spilled the beans on his interview in May 1990 before the release date on June 15 1990. When talking about Howie Mandel and Tony Randall doing voice work for the film, he remarked to you "You do something in this one also." You smiled and asked how he knew that, to which he responded "Uh... I'm nosy!" You tried to change the subject when Arsenio said they had to break for commercial--- "We've gotta go... Oh, he belches!"

You were talking about extreme fans of some movies that some people watch 40- 50 times? Not even close with me! Try hundreds, literally.

Okay, I think I will go lie down now, like Joe Dante told me to do, lol!

Best Wishes,
