"Let Them Chirp" News

Let Them Chirp Awhile, a film I did last October, has been selected for the Woodstock and Fort Lauderdale Film Festivals. I will definitely be attending the Woodstock FF.

Glad to hear the news, have fun at the festivals.

Any news on when "The Pack" is going to be released? That looks like it will be a good one.

Too funny! I was born and raised in Seattle (go SeaHawks!) and moved to NYC in 2001 a couple months before 9/11 (that was something to experience living downtown Ack!)

And just talked with Joe Dante yesterday (he screened MATINEE and GREMLINS 2 to our vast audience of 12 and chatted with most of us. It was like a Director Master Class in between the two films ;)

I used to chuckle everytime I would go to my dentist in NY on 41st steet and pass by the Clamp tower. For over a year I kept passing it on the street going "I've seen that somewhere before..." then I saw it again and recognized it.

So I was online today (currently in San Fran, CA where I moved in 2006) and was wondering what you are up to of late. I ran into Phoebe Cates back in NY just before I moved, nice and sweet, very nice. And now I am planning on taking a trip to England (london in particular and also Hitchen outside London as I have mutual friends there) and I read you blog about the pubbing! Besides the theatre scene and British Museums, pubs are the goal!

Just thought it was a strange timing coincidence! I chatted with Joe about MASTERS OF HORROR, GREMLINS 3 (is there really anything to talk about? ;) and how he worked with one of my current voice teachers, Bob Bergen who does most of the current WB cartoon voices (Porky Pig, etc)

So Joe says hey! I say hey and enjoy the next trip to the UK, I hope I will next June! :)

Congrats to you and the rest of the Let Them Chirp Awhile, hopefully we will be able to see it soon, it sounds like something right up my alley!

Tony: Thanks for the update on Joe Dante, it is somewhat sad to see that if there is a Gremlins 3, that he will likely not be involved, but we can all still hope for the best if the studio decides to make a third film.

My worry is that they would take and leave out the majority, if not all of the orignal cast that really brought the films to life!
This tends to happen quite often on Direct-To-DVD sequels...
